- Additional fall colors were seen along the tree line during the game-camera route.

- A brilliant full moon—known as the Beaver Supermoon—lit up the night sky.

Friday, November 7
- CWF hosted the Fall Internship Presentations, celebrating months of research and discovery.
Tuesday, November 11
- A Daddy Longlegs (Opiliones spp.) crawled from a game camera onto a staff member’s hand while they changed the batteries—who knew these gentle arachnids were so curious?

Thursday, November 12
- A juvenile Virginia Opossum (Didelphis virginiana) was observed perched among the branches of a small tree.

Tuesday, November 25
- Two Hooded Mergansers (Lophodytes cucullatus) and a Belted Kingfisher (Megaceryle alcyon) were spotted on one of the ponds during the weekly camera route

- A North American River Otter (Lontra canadensis) was seen in Turtle Pond enjoying a fish dinner.

- Three American Beavers (Castor canadensis) were observed swimming around Turtle Pond. With patience, staff watched them settle on the bank to rest and groom themselves—an uncommon and delightful moment.
